So let's jump right into the goodies because I've not quite hit recovery mode and I'd love to be lying down again! lol.
My favourite pieces from this round of Collabor88 are definitely from Tres Blah
It's a lovely warm looking outfit when all together but the pieces also all work great separately too. I love that you can mix and match all the pieces to make your own version of the outfit. The Rain Boots fit perfectly over the Knitted Leggings too which makes me smile since that is hard to find in SL.
I left off the scarf because I wanted to wear this adorable hair from Clawtooth. It comes with the scarf so the hair fits in perfectly with it. You get a colour change hud to change the scarf too.
Pixicat also have a great outfit for Collabor88
I grabbed this great Wintry Cape and Wintry Tights. I loved the snow version of the tights because of the cute little white bobbles all over them. The Wintry Collar you can grab for the bargain price of 8L too! Something cute for winter that is light on the wallet, I'll never say no to that.
Baiastice have released some pieces that are guaranteed to keep you warm.
Especially this Emma Scarf, which I could so do with in RL right now. It's so warm and snuggly looking that you're going to need one. While you're there grab yourself the Stef Sweater that tucks perfectly into the Hill Trousers. You can go for all one colour or mix and match to your hearts content.
I love a good sweater dress. They're great for the summer with some flip flops and great for the winter with tights and warm boots.
So when I saw the Sweater Dress from Foxes at Collabor88 I knew it was going to end up in my inventory. The only problem was picking a colour because there are SO many it will take you forever to choose. I went with the Ombre Navy because I loved the colour change in it but you'll definitely find one to suit you too.
The hair you can grab from Lamb. It's the Seasons Change style and I'm the first to admit that Lamb is one of those stores that I normally overlook because my weird shaped head always made it look strange on me. I had to try the demo for this one because I was in love with the adorable bobble hat. I'm glad I did because I love how this hair looks on me. Now I feel kinda bad for overlooking Lamb and knowing I've probably missed some great hair at great prices. However they'll be firmly on my shopping list in future.
The Secret Store have released the Misha Oversized Coat and you're going to need one because it's just too damn awesome to pass up.
It comes with a hud that lets you change the colour and pattern of the sweater underneath or you can choose to wear the jacket without it. It might even fit over some other stuff you own because it's fairly chunky.
The cute little necklace is from Yummy and is the Snowflake Crystal Necklace. I love snowflakes and the idea that no two are the same. The patterns are so pretty and this is great not just for the holiday season but for all winter too. Looks cute with a casual outfit or you could use it to bling up something formal too.
Yes I said bling up. I'm sick, don't hate me.
If you wanted to make sure you aren't going to get cold you'll need a nice, big, thick, chunky scarf to throw over the top of that oversized coat. The Secret Store thought of that too and the Kelly Snuggly Scarf is an optional extra that you can pick up while you grab the coat. Who can resist something that looks that comfy.
If like me you grabbed the Princess Jezibell Snug from Scarlet Creative while at Collabor88 then Second Spaces will make sure you have something to sit in while you relax in it.
The best option is to buy the Snow Day Set as an actual set. It's the best price and you get all the pieces. There are two versions, Light and Dark, and you can choose to buy all the extra bits separately if you want but you're going to want the adorable lights and the little side table that looks like a stool!
